My Mission
I believe that true success begins with prioritizing a personal relationship with God. Whether I’m meeting with leaders and others, mentoring doctoral students, coaching on personal financial management, speaking to audiences, guiding organizations toward growth and sustainability, or engaging with peers, my mission is to inspire transformation from ordinary to extraordinary—spiritually, personally, and professionally.
I am devoted to equipping others to lead with purpose, live out their God-given potential, and make a meaningful impact in their communities. My work is driven by a commitment to servant leadership and a desire to see others thrive in every area of their lives.
Personal Journey
I was born and raised in a rural town in Jamaica, where poverty and limited access to resources shaped my early years. Despite these challenges, my grandmother, a teacher, instilled in me faith in God, the value of hard work, and the transformative power of education. Even with meager financial resources, attending school was non-negotiable, and I vividly remember walking close to two miles each day, rain or shine, to pursue my studies.
With the encouragement of my grandmother, teachers, and other mentors, I graduated from high school with aspirations for college, though financial barriers seemed insurmountable. A life-changing opportunity came when my high school principal selected me for a one-year, full-time position that enabled me to fund the start of my college journey. This pivotal moment set me on a path that would eventually lead me to the United States, where I pursued advanced degrees and professional opportunities.
Academic Achievements
I hold a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Study in Law, and I am a Certified Public Accountant. I also earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, where my research focused on “Expanding Access to Quality Supplemental Educational Programs for K-12 Students in Underserved Communities.” These academic pursuits have equipped me to lead with purpose, mentor others, and create meaningful, lasting impact. As I deepened my relationship with God and aligned with His plan for my life, the call to pursue theological education became distinct and fated. I am currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Candler School of Theology, Emory University.
My Leadership Roles
With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit, church, and corporate leadership, my journey has been shaped by a commitment to excellence and a belief in God’s power to guide and transform lives. I currently serve as the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Glory Christian Fellowship International, where I oversee operations, financial management, and strategic planning to support the church’s vision of winning the lost, discipling the found, and sending the discipled.
Additionally, I am the Executive Director of Bridges Community Economic Development Corporation, where I lead initiatives that provide critical resources to underserved families. These programs include supplemental education for K-12 students, financial literacy, parent empowerment, community outreach, and local and international missions, all designed to empower individuals, close achievement and income equity gaps, and strengthen communities.
Speaker and Communicator
As a speaker, I am driven to share messages that inspire, empower, and challenge audiences to grow spiritually, personally, and professionally. Whether addressing church congregations, leadership teams, or community organizations, I bring a dynamic and relatable approach that leaves audiences encouraged and equipped to take action.
I speak on topics such as:
• Faith and spiritual growth
• Leadership and organizational development
• Personal transformation and purpose
• Financial stewardship and community empowerment
My goal as a speaker is to connect with people where they are, share practical insights, and point them toward God’s extraordinary plan for their lives.
Author and Mentor
My dedication to mentoring, spiritual growth, and aligning with God’s plan for my life has inspired me to author three impactful books:
• Seeking After God: Satiating the Longing of the Soul (ISBN: 979-8990706903)
• I Dare You to Trust God (ISBN: 979-8990706965)
• God is For You and With You Always (ISBN: 979-8895979204)
Through my writing, I aim to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God, trust His divine plan, and embrace their extraordinary potential. My personal journey of faith has been shaped by daily disciplines of prayer, Bible study, and journaling—practices that have transformed my life and continue to guide me in every area of leadership and service.
Beyond the Work
Beyond my professional and ministry roles, I find joy in the simple things that bring balance and renewal to my life. I love reading, writing, traveling, taking long walks on the beach, and spending time with family, friends, and my beloved Labrador Retriever. These moments of reflection and connection fuel my passion for serving others and remind me of God’s faithfulness in every season.
Let’s Connect
I am committed to walking alongside others as they discover their purpose and step into the extraordinary plans God has for their lives. Whether through speaking, writing, or mentoring, I’m here to help you grow and thrive. Together, we can embrace God’s extraordinary plan and create lasting transformation in our lives and communities.
